The day of the hearing, I was confident in myself and in knowing my legal rights were protected. The board of nursing overturned their original decision. I was granted my licensure free and clear. In other words, I no longer have restrictions on my license. You have spent a large amount of money, time, and frustration in earning your nursing degree. If you find yourself in a similar situation as I found myself some time ago, I recommend you to hire legal representation. I encourage you to hire someone with the experience of representing nurses before the board. I encourage you to retain Lorie Brown at the Nurse Protection Association as your attorney. I have passed her information on to several people. I highly suggest her services. –DW, Indianapolis, Indiana
